Many of the leading law firms, financial institutions and corporations trust HighQ’s secure cloud to protect their valuable data and securely exchange sensitive information.
Why is our approach different? For starters, we have a dedicated, 24-7 security function with team members who average more than 15 years of industry experience with extensive qualifications.
We also host your solution and data in the most secure environment available. It’s the very best of its kind—safer and more cost-effective than a normal, onsite corporate infrastructure.
Our team also understands that the majority of security risk involves a human element. So we designed the HighQ secure cloud to all but eliminate the human factor as a risk to your data.
Security concerns associated with cloud data storage are no longer an issue for law firms, writes Michael Hall, global head of information security for HighQ. Discover his perspective on shifting industry opinions and adopting cloud technology for more efficient legal service delivery.Read the article
Security is in our DNA. And we’re heavily invested in making sure you and your clients are protected when using our platform, so you can focus on delivering more valuable services. Out of the box, HighQ secure cloud:
We have 14 data centres in 7 countries, including the UK, US, Germany, Australia and Canada, that offer extensive levels of security. Whichever location you choose, your data never leaves the country where the centre resides.
From network connections to server configurations to power supplies, our infrastructure is state-of-the-art. It’s monitored continually and proactively, and we collect extensive activity data for forensic analysis if necessary.
Our secure development methodology includes regular CREST-accredited penetration testing by external groups to identify potential issues and vulnerabilities. We make reports available to clients, and they also can perform tests.
HighQ meets a range of global certifications and regulatory and compliance standards, such as ISO 27001, ISO 22301, SSAE 16 Type II, ISAE 3402 Type II, FIPS 140-2 Level 3, Cyber Essentials +, CSA STAR, HIPAA, GDPR and more.
Decide where you want to store your files for each individual workspace, and then choose from any global HighQ data centre or use our storage appliance to store them on premises. We’re as flexible as you need us to be.
HighQ uses AES-256 encryption everywhere—on disk, on the network and in the database. We also offer a hardware security module (HSM) that can take encryption to the same level that banks and the military use.
We can provide you with a dedicated, single-instance architecture, so you have complete control over your instance and data, including who can access it and how it can be used. It’s your application, we just protect it.
In addition to two-step authentication at the system level and for individual organisations and work spaces, we can provide single sign-on (SSO) integration and IP whitelisting to restrict access to only approved locations.
