November 21, 2016—DocsCorp, a global leader in integrated document workflow solutions and technologies, announced today that its breakthrough metadata management software, cleanDocs, now integrates with HighQ, a leader in secure cloud collaboration and content management solutions, to ensure the highest degree of security and compliance when sharing information and collaborating in the cloud.
HighQ customers with the iManage Work connector will be the first to benefit from the integration. Documents uploaded to HighQ from iManage Work using the HighQ integration appliance will now be able to be cleaned of metadata as a seamless part of the upload process. Documents are routed by the connector to a server on the client’s premises where the documents are cleaned before they are uploaded to HighQ.
Leading independent Australia law firm Hall & Wilcox is one of the first firms globally to benefit from the integration. Peter Campbell, Client Solutions Director, said, “We are already enthusiastic users of both the cleanDocs product and HighQ and value them as part of our technology portfolio. The collaboration between HighQ and DocsCorp to link the two products, demonstrates a shared vision and technical capability that aligns with our own smarter law strategy to co-create solutions with clients and other providers. As a firm we are able to benefit from a product we already trust, but in a new context, which, to date, has exceeded expectations.”
Commenting on the cleanDocs integration, Stuart Barr, Chief Strategy Officer at HighQ says, “Security is paramount to our clients, and cleaning documents of metadata as part of the upload process to the HighQ cloud provides another layer of security and compliance. We are delighted to team up with DocsCorp as a leading provider in the metadata cleaning marketplace which is used by many of our existing customers.”
cleanDocs is a breakthrough technology for desktop and mobile users that cleans documents at sub-second speeds. It achieves this through binary level and multi-thread processing. Binary-level processing – cleanDocs does not need to open the authoring application.
In fact, the user does not need to have the application installed. Instead, cleanDocs analyzes and cleans the documents at the binary or direct file level. Multi-thread processing – cleanDocs also takes full advantage of multi-thread processing, supporting all available cores. For example, on an 8-core CPU it can process up to 8 documents at a time to make light work of large batch cleaning operations. cleanDocs supports 4, 8, 16 and 32 CPU cores.
DocsCorp provides document professionals who use enterprise content management systems with integrated, easy-to-use software and services that extend document processing, review, manipulation and publishing workflows inside and outside their environment to drive business efficiency and to increase the value of their existing technology investment.
